Ketika empat komputer pertama kali terhubung dalam jaringan ARPANET, kebutuhan akan sistem pengalamatan yang unik menjadi sangat jelas. Pada masa awal ini, pengalamatan masih sangat sederhana dan terbatas pada beberapa node jaringan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Era_NCP_dan_Transisi_ke_TCPIP_1970-1983\"><\/span><strong>Era NCP dan Transisi ke TCP\/IP (1970-1983)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Network_Control_Protocol_NCP\"><\/span><strong>Network Control Protocol (NCP)<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebelum <strong>TCP\/IP<\/strong>, ARPANET menggunakan <strong>Network Control Protocol<\/strong> sebagai protokol komunikasi utama. NCP menjadi fondasi penting dalam pengembangan sistem pengalamatan internet modern. Sistem pengalamatan pada era ini masih menggunakan format 8-bit yang sangat terbatas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kelahiran_TCPIP\"><\/span><strong>Kelahiran TCP\/IP<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pada tahun 1973, <strong>Vint Cerf<\/strong> dan <strong>Bob Kahn<\/strong> memulai pengembangan TCP\/IP. Mereka menyadari kebutuhan akan sistem pengalamatan yang lebih kompleks untuk mengakomodasi pertumbuhan jaringan. Dari pengalamatan 8-bit sederhana hingga IPv6 yang mampu mengakomodasi triliunan perangkat, perjalanan ini menunjukkan bagaimana teknologi terus berkembang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang terus meningkat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pemahaman tentang sejarah ini penting untuk mengantisipasi perkembangan masa depan dan mempersiapkan infrastruktur yang lebih baik.
